• If I sell me car to you, What will you pay me? And what's the interest rate?
First we will verify that your vehicle qualifies for the program (we will not waste your time if we can't make you an attractive offer) and we can offer you a cash payment and/or an opportunity to exchange for a newer vehilce with a lower payment and interest rate. At the end of the evaluation we will hand you a printed offer that is good for 7 days.
• If I exchange my car with you will I be starting a new contract all over again?
There are several different opportunities that might be available to you, if in fact your vehicle qualifies for the exchange program. And a new contract is certainly one of them. So, if it is approved, and it is exactly what we’re looking for, we’ll be able to go over all of the different scenarios that would be available to you at that time. We may have a variety of different opportunities to choose from, but to be quite frank, this chance is contingent on whether or not your vehicle qualifies for our Exchange Program. And that’s the first thing we need to determine.
• Why is the dealership buying cars from consumers and not the auction?
Right now it’s much easier for us to get new vehicles from the factory than it is to get suitable pre-owned vehicles for our pre-owned programs and our pre-owned customers. We have a large number of customers that will only buy pre-owned cars that were bought here originally and serviced here. So this puts you in control and allows you to exchange your current vehicle for a brand new, equivalent vehicle.
• So, what’s the catch?
There really is no catch. Frequently we have clients that are looking for specific pre-owned vehicles. In order for us to help them out and maintain our relationship with that customer, we need to look around to acquire those specific vehicles. In these cases, it really puts you in the driver’s seat because as compensation to you for allowing us the opportunity to acquire your current vehicle we’ll exchange that one for a brand new, equivalent model.
• What if I want to keep my car for now, do we have to do this today?
No! Most certainly not and I can certainly appreciate that this is a new thought and may need some time, but I should tell you that I will continue to have interest in your vehicle and would like to check in with you periodically to see if I may have an opportunity to purchase it, and should you be ready to sell your vehicle one day I hope that you consider me as a buyer.
